CFO

Our client - is a leading venture capital, focusing on online gaming and related products, fintech, and sustainable real estate. The holding company was founded in 2014 in Switzerland.

We seek a CFO to help grow their newly opened office in Singapore reporting to the Group CFO - a fluent in French and English individual to manage relationships with the headquarters successfully.

Chief FINANCIAL Officer

What will you be doing?

You will oversee the financial reporting for Singapore-based companies, including a fintech company applying for a MAS license. As a member of the APAC executive team, you will be reporting to the Global CFO of a holding company.

Leadership and Strategy:

• Partner with the Executive Team to drive financial strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term goals, budgets, and forecasts.

• Take ownership of financial operations, establish robust processes and drive strategic business initiatives and other business-critical tasks as assigned.

• Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to inform key decision-making.

• Cultivate strong relationships with external stakeholders like auditors, banks, and regulators.

Financial Management:

• Oversee all aspects of finance and accounting, including cash flow, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

• Implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial health and mitigate risks.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, proactively identifying and addressing potential threats.

Holding Management:

• Manage Holding operations efficiently, ensuring accurate accounting records and strong bank relationships.

• Lead cash and investment management for the Group, supporting fund creation initiatives.

Planning and Reporting:

• Align business plans with the Board & collaborate with the CEO on strategy.

• Develop & track budgets, forecasts, & KPIs.

• Prepare & present financial reports to stakeholders.

• Manage external audits & ensure accounting standard adherence.

• Manage cash liquidity & lead treasury function.

• A tech-savvy CFO to enable effective management of globally distributed teams across various countries, entities, businesses

• A team player with an effective communication style and hands-on quickly scaling startup environment

• Experience in tech/fintech/real estate is preferred but not necessary.
